Taiwanese actress Shu Qi cleared the air about gossips of her marrying rumoured beau Stephen Fung this year and clarified her work schedule is packed for the year. The two are believed to be cohabitating and in a stable relationship but both parties never admitted to it.
At a Bvlgari press conference held on Wednesday in Beijing, the actress-model, also the brand ambassador for the Chinese region, denied marriage rumours, “It’s (The marriage date) made up by you guys!”
Although her close friends are gradually getting married and having children, Shu Qi responded, “I feel that kids are a gift from the Heavens.”
The 38-year-old is in no hurry to have one, and has no plans to freeze her eggs either.
“Don’t do something because you feel pressurised to do it. Let nature take its course. Even if I freeze 20 of my eggs but [should I] fail to find a partner, then there’s no point,” Shu Qi said.
However, she revealed to have “everything I need” in her love life and career, and had even lent her pet cat MayMayBoy to Stephen as “he loves my cat and will often visit him at my house”.
