A HAPPY Ruby Rose has announced she is engaged to marry fashion designer girlfriend Phoebe Dahl – and plans wear a vial of her love’s blood around her neck.
The Aussie DJ and media personality uploaded an Instagram photo of two ‘I DO’ canvases, saying that she had accepted Dahl’s proposal.
“After asking her to be mine 3 times always to be rejected I swore I’d never ask again…then this morning at 6am she broke into my house with flowers, coffee and a question…and I said..go f*** yourself…just kidding I said…@faircloth_clothing”, wrote Rose, posting the “I do” photos.
Fashion designer Dahl is CEO of Faircloth clothing, which donates two school uniforms for girls in Nepal for every dress sold.
She is the cousin of former model Sophie Dahl, and the granddaughter of children’s author Roald Dahl and actress Patricia Neal.
The loved-up pair have been spending time together in LA, with Rose posting shots of them at the beach in Malibu and hanging around the trendy Silver Lake area.
Rose also posted a photo of Dahl, calling her “a dream boat”, and a bikini photo of her “bestie”.
And it seems Rose is set to follow in the footsteps Angelina Jolie, who famously wore a vial of then-husband Billy Bob Thornton’s blood around her neck – posting a snap of a vial of Dahl’s blood and boasting she was having it made into a necklace to wear at all times.
“Nothing quite says love like a vile of her blood,” wrote Rose. “It pumps through her heart keeping very fiber of her being alive on this magical earth…I’m going to make it into a necklace. So she’s always living in, on and around me.”
Rose was previously engaged to model Catherine McNeil, but the pair called off their high-profile romance in 2010.
