Malaysian singer-actress Angelica Lee’s director husband, Oxide Pang, was witnessed going on a movie date with Hong Kong actress Liddy Li last week.
Angelica, 38, and Oxide, 48, fell in love after collaborating in horror movie The Eye. After dating for eight years, they finally got married in Malaysia in 2010.
In the four years since their marriage, Angelica has been working hard at being a good wife and mother to Oxide and his 12-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. She was even willing to use her status as a Golden Horse Awards Best Actress to support her husband’s films, playing the lead in Oxide’s movie, Out of Inferno, last year. Netizens commented that they have “never seen her playing such a useless character before”.
However, it seems that her faithful support hasn’t stopped her husband from straying in their marriage, as he was seen on a trip to the movies with 26-year-old Liddy.
Although the two pretended not to know each other at first, Liddy quickly sidled over, playing coy and pursing her lips for a kiss. Her efforts were met with no response for half a minute before she initiated a kiss, and Oxide finally reciprocated.
Before they entered the theatre, Oxide and Liddy shared a cup of soda outside while she fed him popcorn. They entered the theatre with their arms wrapped intimately around each other.
At around 8pm, they exited the movie theatre and proceeded to display their affection publicly, holding hands tightly and leaning against each other’s bodies. They also kissed and smiled at each other as if there was no one else around.
According to reports, this isn’t the first time that Oxide has been caught in a scandal. Before his marriage to Angelica, he was once captured entering a nightclub and hotel with a female model.
