Following previous hearsay of them tying the knot this month, Hong Kong actor Kenny Bee and Fan Jiang will finally hold their wedding ceremony today in the Alila Villas Uluwatu Hotel in Bali after dating for 17 years. This is Kenny’s second marriage following his first marriage to actress Teresa Cheung.
The couple and their two daughters, 9-year-old Chung Yee and 4-year-old Chung Kwok, kicked off their wedding celebrations with a Hawaiian-themed party at Bali last Saturday (Aug 23). The party was held at a cliff-side villa and was attended by nearly 100 family members and friends, including more than 30 celebrities.
61-year-old Kenny paid for their guests’ air tickets, accommodation and food, in addition to the wedding gowns, which amounted to at least HK$5million (approximately S$800,000). Fan Jiang was also seen wearing a six-carat diamond ring that costs more than HK$2million (approximately S$32,000).
Celebrities who attended the event included Maggie Cheung, Rosamund Kwan, Eric Tsang, Tong Leung, Chingmy Yau, Show Luo, Elva Hsiao and many others.
Kenny and Fan Jiang’s adorable daughters stole the limelight with their songs and dances. Tony was so fascinated that he even joined them on stage for a dance. It is said that the two girls will join their parents at the wedding today.
