Singaporean singer JJ Lin, 33, may be envious of his musician friends – including David Tao who tied the knot last weekend, Lee Hom who recently became a father, and Jay Chou who promised to get married by January – but he is no hurry to settle down yet.
At a fashion event organised by online shopping mall Taiwan Rakuten Ichiba on Wednesday, JJ shared that he wishes to get married by 38. “Everyone managed to find their true love, despite their busy schedules. I hope [to do that] too. I still have five years,” he said.
Speaking between chuckles, JJ added that he has never associated “marriage” with himself previously. “I’ve always felt like I was still 18,” the singer laughed.
The recently crowned Golden Melody “Best Male Singer”, whose career takes priority for now, has also been making waves in the fashion industry with his self-established label SMG. Apart from physical stores in Singapore, Shanghai and Taipei, JJ will be expanding his business online in the coming days.
