There is an abundance of new celebrity mummies in showbiz, after Malaysian Mandopop singer Fish Leong gave birth in April and Taiwanese artiste Pace Wu had a baby girl in February. Former Taiwanese band B.A.D member Danny’s wife, Tiffany Yang, who is also a model, gave birth recently in January too, and the three new mothers – who are also very good friends – had a gathering yesterday with their babies.
The trio had agreed to be godmothers to one another’s children when they were still pregnant. Pace even bought gold lockets for each of the babies as a welcome gift.
When Fish posted a photo of all three of them with their babies on Weibo last night, she said that she would remember that day, and even praised Pace’s daughter Little Ruirui for her beauty.
However, Pace was wearing shades in the photo, and Little Ruirui’s face was deliberately mosaicked, causing some netizens to protest and ask “why is there a need to hide?”
Pace subsequently wrote on Weibo to express her joy at the gathering, and said that the three friends have been great moral and emotional support for one another in the past, and will take good care of one another’s children from now on.
