Malaysian actress Angelica Lee has been plagued with unfortunate events recently.
Not only was her husband, Oxide Pang, caught having an affair with Hong Kong starlet Liddy Li, her four Cacac boutiques in Malaysia have also closed down.
The 38-year-old had been operating the shops for four years, but was forced to end the business early this year due to lackluster sales figures.
Additionally, the Little Yellow Flower Education Foundation, which she founded with Valen Hsu, Charlie Yeung and Gigi Leung, was also rumoured to be closing down, although the news was refuted by officials on Saturday.
An insider revealed that the series of blows has drained Angelica and she has been staying at home to rest for the past few days. It is said that Oxide has been staying by her side, in order to take care of his wife.
Angelica also has the support of Oxide’s 12-year-old daughter, Xin Xin, from his previous marriage. According to reports, Xin Xin is extremely displeased and angry with her father for having an affair. As she has always had a good relationship with Angelica, Xin Xin is a strong source of support for the actress.
Angelica’s teacher and manager Sylvia Chang also flew to Malaysia hastily to comfort her, while Charlie Yeung expressed that she has made plans to visit her good friend.
Label mate Karena Lam recently revealed that she has contacted Angelica, and called for the public to give her some space, explaining that Angelica is now trying her best to deal with these matters.
