Malaysian-Chinese actress-singer Angelica Lee has picked herself up and resumed work after her husband’s infidelity was exposed in May.
On Monday, Angelica was rumoured to have met chairman and founder of Hong Kong Television Network Limited (HKTV) Ricky Wong to discuss about a possible new project – social drama Feng Yun. The businessman reportedly paid for her air ticket and accommodation in Hong Kong and the chances of collaboration are high.
Hong Kong sources revealed Ricky will pay the actress approximately HK$100,000 (S$20,000) for each episode, and filming begins in end-August after an imaging session today.
The spokesperson of HKTV did not give a response when asked to confirm the rumours, and her husband Oxide Pang maintained silence as well, only emphasising his full support for Angelica.
There are also speculations that Oxide will begin shooting Out of Inferno 2 – a movie based on a real life fire incident – in the later half of the year, but clarifies he will not be working with Angelica.
The 38-year-old actress forgave her husband, Oxide Pang, for cheating on her with a Hong Kong starlet called Liddy Li, on the account of their marriage of four years. Both husband and wife meditated at a Buddhist temple for seven days to attain inner peace and start life anew.
